The common modality churches have of adding to their growth in the pursuit of their mission is to invite people to church, meaning, a time and place that the members of that particular church come together to hear teaching, sing worship and educate their children. 

At Thrive Church AZ we choose to pursue our mission differently. We believe that if we want to connect with others, we need to go to where they are. We want to meet our neighbors. We want to be a part of our community and we want to let people watch us, get to know us and experience us and see the power of Christ in action among the lives of people. 

We call this value "Encounter". We want to be in action in our communities encountering and engaging those around us. We believe that this is the model of the first century church.
